It is not easy to build a large steel structure stadium in Algeria, which is 100 meters long and 80 meters wide and 12 meters high. The most important thing in this project is the use of pu insulation board, so that the gymnasium always maintain the temperature of the exercise.

PROJECTS Details

The large-scale sports stadium project located in Algeria uses a large-span steel truss roof and steel frame main structure to break through the desert climate construction problem with a grand volume of 100 meters ×80 meters. The main body uses box-shaped steel columns and H-shaped steel beams to construct a space grid, and achieves accurate assembly of the 12-meter-tall structure through high-strength bolt connection technology.The roofing system is an innovative combination of PU temperature insulating core materials with double molded steel plates, wind support system and rapid construction process of prefabricated steel components, and the main roof is capped in only 7 months under harsh environment.The 150mm thick PU insulation layer is filled between the steel grid and the curtain wall keel to form a continuous insulation barrier, which increases the energy saving efficiency of the indoor constant temperature system by 40%. The whole project adopts the anti-corrosion coating of environmentally friendly steel structure, and its rigid and flexible metal skeleton and streamlined curved surface design become a new benchmark for the integration of green building and steel structure technology in North Africa.
